SPORT INJURIES
Sports injuries are very common in athletes and can be frustrating for individuals participating in sports. The practise focuses strongly on: the assessment, management and prevention of these injuries, as well as full rehabilitation in order to return players back to the sport.
BACK & NECK PAIN
Lower back and neck pain are the most common type of musculoskeletal pain experienced by individuals. M. Sonday Physiotherapy conducts thorough assessments to diagnose the cause of the pain in order to provide effective treatment.
PHYSICAL / BIOMECHANICAL ASSESSMENTS
The practice offers biomechanical assessments to check the alignment of the spine and joints. Using this assessment technique, muscle imbalances in the body can be detected. This could be the cause or a predisposing factor of the pain.
STROKE & NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION
Stroke and neurological medical conditions are prevalent and can cause limitation to an individual’s daily function. The practice aims to promote functional independence of daily living activities amongst all individuals, presenting with physical disability.
